United Games is looking for an enthusiastic community manager. As a community manager you will be the link between the company and the community. One part is communicating with players from our games and the other part is keeping in touch with the biggest game companies in the world.

Your tasks
United Games manages multiple gamecommunities which all require a lot of attention. This makes you the contact for players when they encounter problems, but also when they setup fansites or organise other activities to increase the popularity of the game. Other activities include actively organising events, sales promotions and other methodes to keep the community active.

- Offer service to players with problems.
- Communicate between partners, company and community.
- Participate in organisation of events and sales promotions.
- Encourage the community to create fansites and guilds.
- Write and translate news.
- Give technical feedback to the technical teams.
- Active participation in the community.
- Lead a team of voluntary moderators and admins.

Requirements

Communication is the most important quality of a community manager. Speaking and writing both Dutch and English is very important. Affinity with online gaming and experience in leading online communities are equally important.

  • - HBO/WO
  • - 40 hours per week
  • - An education in PR/Marketing/Communications studie is a pre.
  • - Excellent communicative skills.
  • - Experience in using social networks: Hyves, Facebook, Twitter.
  • - Writing inspiring texts shouldn’t be a problem for you.
  • - You’re independent and pro-active.
  • - You’re representative and can communicate professionally.
  • - You live in the Amsterdam area.
