Oddlabs is a small independent game development company situated in Odense, Denmark.
The company was founded in 2001 by four computer science students from University of Southern Denmark. The first couple of years were spent on the underlying technology: A game engine that allows for rapid development of 3D crossplatform games that will run on Windows, Mac OS X and Linux without any platform specific modifications. Based on this technology and the “independent developer” approach to the computer games market, Oddlabs won a third place in Venture Cup | Denmark 2004, an annual businessplan competition for high-tech startups. |
