Hilversum – An online golf game has been developed by Unitedgames for the KLM Open. All of the 18 holes from the Hilversumsche Golf Club have been created digitally, based on photos shot exclusively for the game. Golfers can emerge themselves in the game, and experience the KLM Open 2010 Championship Course. The tournament will be played from 9 – 12 September at the Hilversumsche Golf Club.

The game will offer two forms of competition, a Neary competition where players need to get the ball as close to the flag as possible from different places on the course and a Longest Drive where players need to get the bal as far as possible on the fairway for every hole. Players can try the game alone or compete against other players and win different prizes in the competitions. The will go live in june.

De main goal of the game is to enhance the KLM Open experience and bring it to your home. By using photo realistic images from the Hilversumsche Golf Club can the player really experience what it is like to play there in the game. Thanks to new techniques, golf games on the internet are getting better, more visually appealing and more realistic.
